Al-Hilal have reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign Brazilian international forward Gabriel Martinelli (25), according to a report from Foot Mercato. The agreement between the Saudi Pro League club and the Premier League champions is believed to be in it’s principle stages.
The Gunners are keen to sell the Brazilian forward before the end of the transfer window after already completing the vast majority of their transfer business this summer and now focusing on player sales. Martinelli has found opportunities reduced at Arsenal in recent times, with new attacking reinforcements arriving at the Emirates over the last two transfer windows.
Arsenal yet to convince Martinelli to join Al-Hilal
Whilst an agreement has been reached between the two clubs, there is still no agreement between the Saudi club and the 25-year-old. The North London club are pushing to convince the forward to make the move to the Saudi Pro League, but he is yet to be fully convinced as talks continue.
