Fantasy Basketball Preview: How will the Phoenix Suns’ rotation look?

The 2026 NBA Fantasy season is right around the corner. Let’s talk about the Suns from a slightly different perspective than you are used to reading on here.

Whether you are in a roto, points, head-to-head league, dynasty, or re-draft, you need to know the roles and rotation projections to get the most out of your picks.

One of the deepest, darkest fantasy basketball secrets I have for you fantasy sickos is that if you’re using ESPN for ADP, you’re already behind. Fantrax is my personal favorite, as the rankings are typically a lot closer to what my individual rankings end up being. There are several other great sites or subscriptions to dive deeper, of course.

One example of great year-round coverage is embedded below from Josh Lloyd of Locked On Podcast Network. He recently did a Suns-specific preview breaking down the team from that lens in great depth.

So we’ll use them (Fantrax) for the ADP for this exercise. Disclaimer: It’s still very early in these rankings, so expect significant fluctuation as more mock drafts pile in and more data becomes available. It’s not perfect now, but the closer it gets to draft day, the more accurate these ADP rankings get.

The Suns have an interesting roster from a fantasy perspective. They have their engine (Devin Booker), the “co-captain” in Jalen Green, and some “young-ish vets” in Dillon Brooks, Miles Bridges, and Mark Williams who have some intrigue but clear limitations from a fantasy perspective as well. And then a ton of depth to figure out where the rest of the touches and minutes go.

**Suns’ Roster ADP: (**via Fantrax as of 8/19/26)

* Indicates an expected rise as the season gets closer.

Devin Booker - 26.1

Miles Bridges - 103.2*

Mark Williams - 110.2

Jalen Green - 118.1*

Collin Gillespie - 136.3

Dillon Brooks - 176.2*

Khaman Maluach - 199.2

Oso Ighodaro - 243.5

Jordan Goodwin - 244.1

To be honest, it may be best to avoid taking some of these mid-tier guys early until we figure out what the minutes breakdown will look like. Khaman Maluach could be a worthwhile stash for deeper leagues or dynasty leagues, especially given Mark Williams’ injury history.

Key Players

Devin Booker - Range = Pick 20-30

2025-26 Stats: Games Played: 64 | Minutes Per Game: 33.5

PPG: 26.1 | RPG: 3.9 | APG: 6.0 | SPG: 0.8 | BPG: 0.3 | FG%: .456 | 3P%: .330 | FT%: .873

Booker is fresh off a relatively disappointing season to his standards, both in real-life and in fantasy. There was an expected “post-KD leap” that never came to fruition, and while it was better for the Suns (getting unexpected contributions), it hurt his fantasy stock quite a bit.

He is sandwiched between Austin Reaves and James Harden in the ADP rankings currently. This feels about right for him. Phoenix has a ton of guard depth, and he typically misses anywhere from 15-20 games per season on average. If Jalen Green stays on the floor more and Miles Bridges takes some touches, we could see a slight dip in the scoring, but with that could come improved efficiency and playmaking. His value falling in ADP could make him a pleasant surprise for some people if he drops to the 3rd round this year.

Miles Bridges - Range = Pick 75-100

2025-26 Stats: Games Played: 77 | Minutes Per Game: 31.0

PPG: 17.1 | RPG: 5.8 | APG: 3.2 | SPG: 0.6 | BPG: 0.4 | FG%: .460 | 3P%: .333 | FT%: .822

Bridges was a solid (not special) fantasy contributor a year ago in Charlotte for those who wanted volume in points, rebounds, and (some) assists to go with efficiency that didn’t hurt you too much at that workload in a free-flowing Charlotte offense.

With Booker, Green, and Brooks all in the mix, I see a dip in his FGA per game being imminent. That said, we could see more playmaking and a rebounding bump since the Suns struggle to rebound the ball. He’s one of those wait-and-see options that could be worth a flier if you get him at the right time.

Jalen Green - Range = Pick 75-100

2025-26 Stats: Games Played: 32 | Minutes Per Game: 25.9

PPG: 17.8 | RPG: 3.6 | APG: 2.8 | SPG: 1.1 | BPG: 0.3 | FG%: .422 | 3P%: .313 | FT%: .747

Jalen Green is who he is from a fantasy perspective at this point. His draft range will be pretty wide, and depend on if people trust that he can stay on the floor. It was his superpower before arriving in Phoenix, as he went two consecutive seasons playing in all 82 games.

When available, he’s shown he can score. The question is how efficient will he be? Will the addition of Bridges and a (hopefully) healthier guard rotation take touches away from him? We shall see.

Mark Williams - Range = Pick 90-110

2025-26 Stats: Games Played: 60 | Minutes Per Game: 23.6

PPG: 11.7 | RPG: 8.0 | APG: 1.0 | SPG: 0.9 | BPG: 0.9 | FG%: .644 | 3P%: 1.000 | FT%: .771

Mark Williams is a huge risk, but with that risk comes a steady double-double threat on elite efficiency. He is a useful fantasy asset when healthy; we all know this. Khaman Maluach is knocking on the door, and Oso Ighodaro gained Jordan Ott’s trust last season, so we could see a slight dip in Williams’ minutes yet again.

Dillon Brooks - late round play

2025-26 Stats: Games Played: 56 | Minutes Per Game: 30.4

PPG: 20.2 | RPG: 3.6 | APG: 1.8 | SPG: 1.0 | BPG: 0.2 | FG%: .435 | 3P%: .344 | FT%: .842

The addition of Miles Bridges hurts Dillon Brooks’ fantasy value the most on this Suns team.

He (Brooks) also benefited from Jalen Green’s extended absence, along with a constantly depleted Suns’ guard rotation last season, which meant more offensive touches for him. He’ll still get his, but expect less freedom this year. Just don’t tell Dillon Brooks that. We’re hoping for a jump in efficiency while improving shot selection. To me, he is the most volatile member on this team from a fantasy perspective.

Collin Gillespie - back-end of roster guard

2025-26 Stats: Games Played: 80 | Minutes Per Game: 28.5

PPG: 12.7 | RPG: 4.1 | APG: 4.6 | SPG: 1.2 | BPG: 0.2 | FG%: .418 | 3P%: .401 | FT%: .874

Gillespie’s value is tough to gauge. He will be relied on and get minutes, but to what extent? His breakout season was partially tied to a carousel of guard injuries a year ago. At full strength, he is limited. He will still be good, but limited. That’s a perfect world Suns fans would love to live in, though we all know injuries will happen, and when they do, expect Gillespie to make the most of it again.

He will have his fantasy relevance and should be rostered in most formats, though his production could fluctuate throughout the season.

Jordan Goodwin - insurance piece/streamer

2025-26 Stats: Games Played: 70 | Minutes Per Game: 22.5

PPG: 8.7 | RPG: 4.9 | APG: 2.2 | SPG: 1.5 | BPG: 0.2 | FG%: .413 | 3P%: .371 | FT%: .696

We all know that Jordan Goodwin will step up when they need him. He’s a better real-life player than fantasy player.

Oso Ighodaro - insurance piece/streamer

2025-26 Stats: Games Played: 82 | Minutes Per Game: 22.0

PPG: 6.5 | RPG: 5.1 | APG: 2.3 | SPG: 0.9 | BPG: 0.7 | FG%: .653 | 3P%: .000 | FT%: .453

Oso is a great early-season Williams insurance piece, but even then, with Maluach lurking, it’s tough to tell what his exact role will be. He will be in the rotation, early and often, either way. If the FT% doesn’t improve, it’s tough to see him being a valuable fantasy piece.

Khaman Maluach - insurance piece/streamer/long-term piece

Keep an eye on Man Man. He could be a league-winner in the spring if Williams goes down and he takes the starting center job by storm at some point during the mid-to-late part of the season. His value may not come into play until early 2027 as the calendar flips, but expect him to be a factor at some point this season.
