Angel Reese is continuing to smash WNBA records in her first season with the Atlanta Dream.
As the most gifted rebounder in league history, she is beginning to rack up accolades as the team marches towards the playoffs.
Yesterday, against the Los Angeles Sparks,Reese broke two records within the span of an hour. First, she smashed the single season rebounding record, flying past the 451 mark set by A’ja Wilson in 2024. Currently, she sits at 458 with potentially six games left in the regular season, so she could really build some distance here.
On route to that 458 number, she pulled down 26 boards in the win, setting a new single-game record for rebounds.
And finally, just today Reese was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the first time with the Atlanta Dream.
This achievement was shared with a basketball idol and close friend Wilson who won it for the Western Conference.
