The summer transfer window will close on September 1. Arsenal have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Julian Alvarez, with talks set to begin after Atletico Madrid named their price.

The Gunners could fund a deal through Gabriel Martinelli’s exit, while they remain interested in Kenan Yildiz and Matias Fernandez-Pardo.

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba and could turn their attention to Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde. Chelsea could move for Francisco Conceicao if Pedro Neto leaves.

Liverpool are closing in on a deal for PSG star Bradley Barcola. They are also plotting a third bid for Brighton forward Yankuba Minteh, having made a shock enquiry about Endrick.

Elsewhere, Juventus have officially signed former Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara on loan from Wolfsburg until June 30, 2027.

The 27-year-old joins to strengthen Juventus’ goalkeeping department after coming through the ranks at Ruch Chorzow and playing for several clubs across Europe.

Grabara joined Liverpool in 2016 and had loan spells at Aarhus and Huddersfield before moving to Copenhagen in 2021, without making a single first-team appearance for the Reds.

The Poland international won two league titles and a cup during a successful three-year spell in Denmark before joining Wolfsburg in 2024, where he made 63 Bundesliga appearances.

A club statement read: “Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with VfL Wolfsburg for the temporary acquisition, until 30 June 2027, of the registration rights of the player Kamil Grabara has been reached for a consideration of € 0.5 million, with ancillary costs of € 0.2 million.

“This consideration may be increased up to a maximum of € 0.3 million over the duration of the player’s contract, upon the achievement of specific objectives.

“The agreement further entails the right for Juventus to definitively acquire the player’s registration rights. The agreed consideration for the potential definitive acquisition is € 11.5 million, payable in three financial years.”
