Rank the four NFC East coaches
On Monday, we ranked the four starting quarterbacks in the NFC East. This morning, we turn our attention to the head coaches in the division.
Let's get right to it with our rankings, shall we?
Nick Sirianni, Eagles: I'm sure the three other non-Eagles fan bases hate him with the fire of a thousand burning suns (and some Birds fans themselves might even be included in that...), but his resume is a dream for any team out there. He's been a head coach for five years. He's made the playoffs each time, including two trips to the Super Bowl and one smashing championship win against the team of the decade. He's tied for the fifth-best winning percentage in NFL history.
John Harbaugh, Giants: Harbaugh won a ton in his 18 years with Baltimore, including the a Super Bowl victory back during the 2012 season. He lost steam at the end and a refresh was best for both sides. Seeing what Harbaugh's impact might be for the Giants is a major, major storyline in the division.
Dan Quinn, Commanders: I kind of dig the "backwards hat" vibe Quinn has and credit to what he did with the team in 2024, but "28-3" will forever hang over him.
Brian Schottenheimer, Cowboys: Schottenheimer was such an uninspiring hire going into 2025 given the big-name offensive talent on the Dallas roster. The offense will be fine, I'm sure, but everyone else in the division has had way more success in a head coaching position, whether with their current team or elsewhere.
How would you rank the four head coaches? Be sure to vote in our poll for the best overall coach in the division too!
