What is NFL in London?
NFL is America's National Football League... except, as we all know, football in America isn't the football we're familiar with. Find out more about what American Football actually involves and get up to date on the rules here.
NFL London Games (previously known as NFL International Series, and then NFL in London) is what it says; the American game, transferred to London. Of the 32 teams in the league, four will each play a match here in London in autumn 2026 (as well as one game each in Madrid and Paris), while one team plays two matches here.
Games played in Europe are part of the regular season, and count towards the league as such.

NFL in London is part of a tour previously known as the NFL International Series, which saw matches played in countries all over the world. In addition to the London matches, France and Spain each host a match this year.
Wembley has been hosting NFL games since 2007, and Twickenham has also hosted NFL games in the past. But Tottenham Hotspur's stadium has been the main London host of NFL games since 2019.
There was talk of the NFL becoming the main tenant of the Olympic Stadium, before West Ham moved in. There have also been discussions about having an NFL team stationed in London permanently, but the logistics and complications of that mean there are no firm plans as yet.

Three NFL London Games take place in October. The full 2026 schedule is as follows:

Which teams are playing in NFL in London 2026?
The Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans will each play in one international game in London during the 2026 regular season. The Jacksonville Jaguars play in two London games.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosts the first two NFL in London 2026 games, while the final game is played at Wembley Stadium on 18 October.

NFL London 2026 events: where to watch NFL in London
A few places that may well be screening NFL games (though do check ahead for specific ties):
🏈 Sport London: their coterie of central London sports bars generously peppered with TVs often has American on.
🏈 Passyunk Avenue: this leading chain of American-style dive bars regularly screens NFL action, and is the closest you'll get to feeling like you're watching in Philly.
🏈 BLOODsports, Covent Garden: horror movies are shown alongside lives sports (inc. plenty of stuff from across the Pond), and somehow it works.
