Fenerbahce have reached an agreement to sign Arsenal defender Cristian Mosquera, according to a report from Turkish journalist Naci Abuska.
The 22-year-old Spanish centre-back is set to make the move to Turkey after Fenerbahce reached an agreement with Arsenal over a deal for the defender.

Mosquera joined Arsenal from Valencia this summer and signed a contract with the Gunners running until 2030. The right-footed centre-back stands at 1.91 metres tall and is regarded as a key target by Fenerbahce as they continue to strengthen their defence.
According to the report, Fenerbahce have agreed a €1million loan fee for Mosquera, while the player is set to receive an annual salary of €2million.

The Turkish club are said to have identified Mosquera as their number one target at the centre of their defence, with his profile also fitting their plans for the future.
The agreement is now reportedly in place, with Mosquera expected to travel to Istanbul on Friday to complete his medical before signing the official paperwork.
Fenerbahce’s move comes after the club became convinced that Mosquera could play an important role in their squad, with the young defender’s ability and age making him an attractive option.
The report states that English and Spanish media have also carried news of the negotiations, with Fenerbahce ultimately reaching an agreement with the London club.

Mosquera was born on June 27, 2004 and has established himself as a highly-rated young defender. His market value is reportedly around €40million, highlighting the potential Fenerbahce see in the player despite the initial move being structured as a loan.
For Arsenal, the proposed transfer would give Mosquera the opportunity to gain regular first-team experience away from north London while continuing his development.
We await reports from journalists in England to confirm the news from Arsenal’s side. It would be a surprise to see Cristian Mosquera leave this summer, even after the signing of Ezri Konsa.
