NFL Media is rolling out a few new programs this season across its outlets, which includes the NFL Channel (its FAST service), NFL+, NFL RedZone, NFL-made podcasts and the NFL YouTube page.
“The NFL Report” and “NFL Pro” are two new shows coming to the NFL Channel, which has distribution on the NFL app on connected TVs or FAST platforms like Amazon, LG, Peacock, Plex, Pluto TV, Roku, Samsung, TCL, Tubi, Vizio and Xumo. “The NFL Report,” which launched Tuesday, will see new hire Andrew Siciliano host Monday through Thursday, with Mike Yam hosting Fridays. “NFL Pro,” which will be more of a stat-driven show, will be hosted by Trevor Sikkema and Brett Kollmann. Both shows will be available as podcasts.
Returning NFL Channel shows include “NFL GameDay Preview,” “NFL Daily,” “Power Rankings,” “NFL Fantasy Football Show” and “NFL GameCenter Live.”
As part of the sixth season of a podcast deal between the NFL and iHeartMedia, new shows include “NFL Daily Power Plays,” hosted by Jourdan Rodrigue, with new episodes available twice a month, as well as“Thinking Sport,”hosted by Jim Rooney, the son of late Steelers owner Dan Rooney.
Other returning podcasts include “NFL Daily,” “The Late Round Fantasy Football Podcast,” “Lots to Say with Bobby Bones and Matt Cassel,” “NFL Cover Zero with Matt Jones and Drew Franklin,” “NFL Fantasy Football Show,” “40s and Free Agents,” “NFL Players: Second Acts” and “Power Rankings.”
The NFL+ OTT service begins its fifth season. The league has rolled out two marketing efforts for the service -- “The Walk” and “Grill” -- with a third promo sport launching the first week of the regular season.
Over on the NFL YouTube page, the league in October will launch “NFL Reacts,” a series in which players rewatch ridiculous plays in NFL history and provide reaction.
