Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr reacts after missing a chance against Man City
Liverpool have submitted an offer to sign Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Reds are keen on bringing in a new winger this summer, despite already securing the signature of Victor Munoz.
Liverpool seemingly have a host of different targets for the winger position, including the likes of Ibrahim Mbaye and Bradley Barcola at various points in the transfer window.
David Ornstein previously confirmed that Liverpool had submitted a bid to sign Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh, but the Seagulls have rejected multiple offers.
Liverpool are clearly spinning many plates when it comes to bringing in a new winger in the final week of the window. Their pursuit of Minteh and Sarr perhaps hints that deals for other targets have proven difficult.
According to Romano, Liverpool have opened talks to sign Crystal Palace's Sarr as a new winger.
Romano claims that Liverpool have submitted a £50 million proposal, and he is keen on making the move.
Romano confirms that a deal for Brighton winger Minteh is off due to Brighton's request in terms of valuation.
The Merseyside club have now moved on to Sarr, but that certainly won't be an easy deal to do either, considering he's a key player for the Eagles.
