However, it seems as though the North Londoners are all set to miss out on Nicolas Jackson if they do not act quickly to secure his services this summer. As per Matt Law (via X), Aston Villa have indicated a willingness to offer Chelsea a £65m package, including add-ons, for Nicolas Jackson’s signature this summer. The Villans are keen to match the asking price set by the Blues for his services as they aim to replace Ollie Watkins before the transfer window shuts. There is also growing belief that the offer could be accepted by Chelsea as they aim to cash in on the prolific striker before time runs out.
In reality, Chelsea were never going to sell a talented striker like Nicolas Jackson to Spurs this summer. The Blues would never want to strengthen their rivals, considering that the Senegal international still has a lot to give and would be an ideal signing for the Lilywhites under Roberto de Zerbi. So, it is important that the North Londoners shift their focus towards other alternatives instead as they aim to replace Richarlison in the starting eleven in the coming weeks.
