However, the Reds want another attacker, and so far, they have been frustrated in their efforts to sign their preferred targets.
Brighton have rejected two bids from Liverpool for Yankuba Minteh, after which the Reds decided to move on to Ismaila Sarr.
The answer from Crystal Palace was the same as the Eagles turned down a late £50m bid, according to various sources.
And now, David Ornstein says Palace have no intention of selling the Senegalese international.

However, the important takeaway from his piece is that Palace have no intention of selling unless Liverpool make an astronomical offer, which is unlikely to happen.
We may have to file this one under the ‘not happening’ category and move on to other targets.
