Liverpool are not expected to return with a third bid to sign Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh unless his valuation drops, according to GIVEMESPORT sources.
The Reds have been in the market to sign new wingers in the summer transfer window as they look to replace Mohamed Salah, who left earlier in the window.
Liverpool did bring in Victor Munoz from Osasuna, but they appear to be looking to add another before the deadline passes.
Minteh had been identified as a key target for Liverpool, with the Reds submitting multiple offers to try to secure his signature.
Liverpool's first offer was in the region of £50 million, but the Seagulls don't appear to be keen to do business at that sort of price.
The Reds then returned with another offer, but Brighton are sticking to a strong valuation.
According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Brighton have told Liverpool that they want £80 million for Minteh in the summer transfer window. Liverpool are not willing to meet that valuation at the moment.
It is understood that Liverpool are not expected to return with a third bid unless Brighton's valuation drops, with their previous £60 million bid seen as competitive.

GIVEMESPORT understands that Liverpool did make an enquiry to Crystal Palace over a move to sign Ismaila Sarr.
Sarr is among a number of options that the Reds are considering as they look to bring in a new winger before the end of the summer transfer window.

Barcola among Liverpool options

PSG winger Bradley Barcola is another option for Liverpool this summer, while they've also targeted Ibrahim Mbaye.
Writing in his latest GIVEMESPORT newsletter, Jacobs has confirmed that Mbaye would be open to joining Liverpool if a club-to-club agreement was in place.
"If they don't get Barcola, then we need to keep an eye on a combination of various names, some of which I've mentioned, and Ibrahim Mbaye has been on Liverpool's radar as well. The price is a bit prohibitive there, as things stand, but the player would be open to a move if a club-to-club agreement was put in place."
The Reds appear to be assessing a number of different options in the market as they look to solve their winger situation.
