Preston North End boss Paul Heckingbottom has named his side for their Carabao Cup second round clash with Everton at Deepdale tonight.

It includes a number of changes, with Lee Nicholls making a first competitive start in goal. Thierry Small and Andrew Moran also make the starting lineup and Jusef Erabi is fit enough to play up front after a knock on Saturday against Wolves. Lewis Gibson is captain.
As for Everton, Harrison Armstrong starts against the team with which he spent the first half of last season on loan. Another ex-PNE loanee in Jordan Pickford is in net.
