As per latest transfer news, Scottish side St Mirren have signed **Liverpool**defender Calvin Ramsay on loan for the 2026/27 season. The 23-year-old right-back will return to Scotland after struggling for opportunities at Anfield.

Liverpool have confirmed that Ramsay will spend the 2026/27 season with St Mirren after both clubs completed an agreement for the Scotland international. He left Aberdeen in 2022 to join Liverpool for around £4.1m. However, he has made only four senior appearances for the Reds since arriving at Anfield. Ramsay has spent much of his time away from Liverpool on loan. He has previously played for Preston North End, Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic and Kilmarnock.
As reported by BBC Sport, Ramsay is now hoping to use his time at St Mirren to rebuild his career. The defender said he wanted to return to Scotland and show what he can do.
