The third-round draw for the 2026/27 Carabao Cup has been completed as the Premier League's European clubs enter the competition.

The Carabao Cup third-round draw has been completed and has thrown up some very interesting match-ups. The eight Premier League teams entering the competition in round three are involved in Europe and are barred from playing each other under the new format. But though they couldn't face a fellow Champions League side, Manchester United have still been handed a tough tie at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, who knocked them out of the FA Cup at Old Trafford last season.
That was one of four confirmed all-Premier League ties, with Liverpool's clash with Tottenham the headline match of the round. The Reds have not lost to Spurs at Anfield in any competition since May 2011, and have knocked the north Londoners out of the League Cup on home soil twice since then.
Ipswich Town vs Arsenal and Coventry City vs Aston Villa are also all-top-flight ties. Chelsea could face bitter rivals Leeds United at Stamford Bridge if they first beat Luton Town tomorrow (Thursday) night.
