Police bodycam footage has been released following the arrest of San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York, who was found guilty of disorderly conduct and possession of criminal tools charges over the weekend.
York, 46, was arrested in East Palestine, Ohio, on Sunday and was sentenced to two days in the Columbiana County Jail. York was found guilty of two misdemeanor charges but entered no-contest pleas to both.
Kyle Shanahan, the head coach of the 49ers, has since broken his silence and claimed that it has no impact on the team from a footballing standpoint. Just days after York's arrest, footage of his detention was published.

In footage obtained by TMZ, an officer is seen approaching York's rental car in the East Palestine area. The 49ers' primary owner was dressed in a Yankees T-shirt, basketball shorts, and tennis shoes, and had his wallet taken from his hand after the officer opened his door.
York was visibly shocked as he was searched and willingly placed in handcuffs, with the 49ers' owner asking officers, "Can I ask what you’re doing?" The officer then asked if York had agreed to meet anyone, to which he replied, "Just driving."
After York was placed in the police cruiser, his vehicle was searched, and several hundred dollars in $20 bills were found. "He’s got a s--- ton of cash," the officer said.
"It’s crazy the people that do this," another officer said. "They could do whatever they want. They could do other things. They could go other ways. It’s wild."
Court records show that York was originally arrested on suspicion of ‘engaging in prostitution.' He entered no-contest pleas to both charges and was found guilty and sentenced to two days in prison.
York’s mobile phone was seized from him during his arrest, but court records show the phone was returned to him. According to an incident report from the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force, York was at a mobile park home after agreeing to pay $160 to a woman for sex.

The report states that York contacted the undercover officer twice on Saturday but received no response. The undercover officer responded to a third message sent on Sunday and offered to meet that morning in East Palestine.
York has been the majority owner of the 49ers since 2024 and the team's chief executive officer since 2008. Coach Shanahan was asked about the arrest, but is confident that it won't disrupt the team ahead of the 2026 NFL season.
"From a football standpoint, it has no effect on us," Shanahan said following a practice, after speaking with York. "It hasn't been mentioned in a meeting today.
"It doesn't have to do with what happens on the field. Everything outside of there, I think you guys can judge that better than me."
