Transfer latest: Julian Alvarez, Bradley Barcola and Emi Martinez
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham are all working on deals to bolster their respective squads ahead of the summer window closing next week. The Premier League champions' top priority is Julian Alvarez and Atletico Madrid have reportedly set a deadline of Friday to big the saga to an end. Gabriel Martinelli should complete his move to Al Hilal, while James Scanlon, Habeeb Ogunneye and Igor Tyjon will all become Arsenal players.
Liverpool are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bradley Barcola, with confidence growing for a £115million transfer. The Reds have also added Ismaila Sarr to their shortlist, while Chelsea are set to raise over £100m by selling strikers Nicolas Jackson and Liam Delap. Emi Martinez has been offered to the Blues and Honest Ahanor has said yes to a switch to Stamford Bridge.

Brentford closing in on El Hadji Malick Diouf transfer as medical booked
El Hadji Malick Diouf is set to join Brentford from West Ham.
Standard Sport understands a deal is close to being finalised after the Bees agreed to pay the Hammers a fee that could, including add-ons, be worth £40million.
The player has been given permission to undergo a medical.
Brentford are understood to be paying around £36m up front.
A five-year contract has been agreed for the Senegalese left wing-back, whose sale will provide the Hammers much-needed funds as they approach deadline day and bid to earn promotion from the Championship and a return to the Premier League.

Alvarez to Arsenal latest
Julian Alvarez’s future could be decided one way or another within this week, amid reports of an ultimatum.
The Atletico Madrid striker has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Barcelona this summer, going as far to request a transfer while on World Cup duty with Argentina.
“The best thing for everyone is a transfer,” Alvarez admitted in an interview with ESPN Argentina following their group phase win over Austria. “And I want to fulfil my dream.”
This comes after the 26-year-old was reportedly left devastated about being told he will not be sold to Barcelona in addition the reaction of the club's supporters against Villarreal.
The big sticking point remains Alvarez and his willingness to join Arsenal. The Athletic claim that contact between the player's representatives and the Gunners have taken place recently and the Premier League champions will only make a move should they get encouragement to do so.
