Liverpool has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over a deal for Bradley Barcola.
The 23-year-old has been a target for Liverpool throughout the summer, but a significant difference in valuation has prevented a deal from being agreed. However, with the transfer deadline fast approaching, the two sides appeared to be closing the gap on a fee, with growing confidence that a move could now be completed.
Liverpool and PSG reportedly agreed terms on the proposed deal overnight, with the package worth around £120 million ($163 million) in total, including more than £100 million ($136 million) guaranteed.
According to The Athletic, sporting director Richard Hughes and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon are leading negotiations, with the final details now being ironed out on Thursday morning.
