Liverpool finally look to have landed Bradley Barcola after a summer of back-and-forth with Paris Saint-Germain. The Reds have been on the lookout for a Mohamed Salah replacement, but were initially said to be put off by Paris Saint-Germain's valuation of the Frenchman.
The Ligue 1 outfit were demanding a fee north of £130million for Barcola, who is said to have told the club that he wants to experience a new challenge. However, the Liverpool transfer chiefs have been chipping away and are now believed to be on the brink of striking a deal at long last.

The Athletic are reporting that a deal worth a total of £120m has been agreed between Liverpool and PSG, paving the way for Barcola to join the Anfield outfit. The agreement is only in principle and the formalities will have to be sorted out before Liverpool can press forward, but it represents a major breakthrough for the six-time European champions.
The good news is that, should the proposed move go through as expected, Barcola will be met with the perfect welcome present at Anfield. That's because the number 11 that he's worn at Paris Saint-Germain and for the French under-21 side is available following the departure of Salah.
Andoni Iraola was quizzed about Liverpool's transfer activity following the weekend draw against Newcastle, with the Spanish coach remarking: "In terms of what we need, there are certain situations that, for me, are clear, especially on the wing because we do not have enough players able to play in those positions.
"Beyond those positions, I think we have to be open-minded in the market and look at situations that can improve our team. It is not about signing a player because we need someone in a particular position. No. It is about improving the squad. We have very good players already here, so to improve, you need a specific level of player."
