Liverpool Reveal New 2026-27 Adidas Third Kit

Liverpool have unveiled their new 2026-27 third kit made by adidas, with the Reds adopting a striking black and dark red design for their latest alternative shirt.

The new Liverpool 2026-27 third kit features an abstract geometric pattern across the jersey, combining deep red tones with black and contrasting white adidas branding.

It is a dramatically different look from Liverpool’s traditional colours and gives the club one of its boldest shirts of the 2026-27 season.

Liverpool 2026-27 Third Shirt

The Liverpool 2026-27 adidas third shirt is predominantly black, with a dark red graphic covering the front, back and sleeves.

Rather than following a conventional striped or repeated pattern, adidas have used an assortment of irregular geometric shapes. Blocks, triangles and fragmented sections overlap throughout the jersey, producing an almost distorted mosaic appearance.

The combination of black and deep red keeps the design unmistakably connected to Liverpool despite moving away from the brighter red traditionally associated with the club.

A simple black crew-neck collar and matching sleeve cuffs complete the main body of the shirt.

White adidas and Liverpool Branding

White detailing provides a strong contrast against the dark background.

The adidas Performance logo appears on the right of the chest, opposite Liverpool’s famous Liver Bird crest. Both are presented in white, while the Standard Chartered sponsor across the centre of the shirt follows the same treatment.

Liverpool’s Expedia sleeve sponsor is also displayed in white.

Perhaps the most recognisable adidas element is found across the shoulders, where the brand’s famous Three Stripes run from the collar towards the sleeves in white.

Against the predominantly black and dark red shirt, the stripes become one of the kit’s most prominent features.

A Bold Graphic Liverpool Third Kit

The abstract pattern is undoubtedly the defining feature of the new Liverpool third kit for 2026-27.

Different shades of dark red emerge through the black base depending on the lighting and distance, giving the shirt a slightly different appearance when viewed up close.

The graphic becomes particularly prominent across the centre of the jersey before continuing onto the sleeves, ensuring there is no obvious break in the overall design.

It’s a considerably more experimental approach than a plain third shirt and one that should make the kit immediately recognisable on the pitch.
