Before the 2026 NFL regular season officially begins, the Patriots will compete against the Browns in their final preseason game on Thursday night.
New England started preseason play with a tie against Indianapolis before defeating Philadelphia, 24-21, on Saturday. Backup quarterback Tommy DeVito threw for 151 yards and one touchdown against the Eagles, adding 44 rushing yards on three carries.

The Browns, meanwhile, have been outscored, 65-17, in their first two preseason games. Earlier this week, Cleveland announced that Deshaun Watson will be the team's starting quarterback with Shedeur Sanders serving as the backup.
