This will be the first time for our fans to see the changes that have been made to the stadium inside and out and the club is gradually increasing the size of the stadium to accommodate more fans to be able to watch their team over the coming seasons.
David Moyes is in his second full season in charge. After he joined them in January 2025, Everton finished in 13th place with 48 points. Last season his side again finished in 13th place, with 49 points. In December of last season, he was the first Everton manager to beat the Cherries at home in the league.
Everton have made 5 signings. Hayden Hackney for £24 million from Middlesbrough, Tyrique George from Chelsea for £24 million. Brennan Johnson has joined from Crystal Palace in a swap deal that sees Dwight McNeil go to Palace. Merlin Rohl from Freiburg for £19 million and Christian Norgaard from Arsenal for £7 million.
Everton started the new season at home against Crystal Palace with a 2-0 win. The previous four seasons they have lost their opening game of the season. Three of those four seasons were at Goodison Park. Last season they lost at Elland Road.
The last time we met Everton in the league at Dean Court was December of last year. There was only one goal in the game and it came in the second half with 12 minutes of normal time to play; the scorer was Jack Grealish. As mentioned earlier, it was the first time Everton have beaten us on our own ground in the league.
In all our home games against Everton, AFCB have W 6, D 2, L 1.
In all competitions against Everton, AFCB have W 11, D 2, L 11.
