Liverpool FC and Adidas have unveiled the club’s 2026/27 third kit, with the design inspired by the atmosphere of the Reds’ famous European nights at Anfield.

The launch also marks the opening of Liverpool’s brand-new global e-commerce platform, giving supporters a new way to buy official club merchandise.

The kit uses a sleek black base with maroon detailing and matte silver accents. A subtle all-over graphic adds texture and movement to the shirt, drawing inspiration from the collective energy generated by supporters inside Anfield under the lights.

The Liver Bird and Adidas logo appear in metallic silver, while player names and numbers use the same finish against the black background. The design is completed by Adidas’ three stripes across the shoulders, with black shorts and socks featuring coordinating silver detailing.

Liverpool and Adidas have built the launch around a new campaign film titled ‘Feel the Anfield Effect’.

The film features Virgil van Dijk, Florian Wirtz, Ryan Gravenberch, Alisson Becker and Rio Ngumoha from the men’s team, alongside Ceri Holland and Grace Fisk from Liverpool’s women’s team, and is narrated by award-winning actor and lifelong Reds supporter Owen Cooper.

The campaign places the supporters at the centre of the kit’s identity. Rather than simply using a traditional club colour combination, the design attempts to reflect the movement and energy associated with European nights at Anfield through its graphic details and metallic elements.

The third kit launch is also part of a wider Adidas release. The brand has introduced Originals Teamgeist 26, a lifestyle collection inspired by the new kit and Liverpool’s shared heritage with Adidas.

The collection moves beyond traditional matchwear and includes jackets, track pants, T-shirts, outerwear and footwear.

Liverpool and Adidas have combined elements of their football heritage with a contemporary streetwear aesthetic, giving supporters options designed for use away from the stadium as well as around matchdays.

The release coincides with the launch of Liverpool’s redesigned global online store. The club says the new platform forms part of its wider digital transformation and has been developed to make it easier for supporters worldwide to discover and purchase official merchandise.

The new ecommerce platform introduces a refreshed design, faster performance and a more personalised shopping experience across mobile and desktop. It also offers curated product recommendations, improved load times and a streamlined checkout process.

Hannah Pym, Liverpool FC’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Digital, described the ecommerce launch as an important step in the club’s digital retail development.

She said the platform is designed to provide a faster and more personalised experience while making it easier for supporters around the world to connect with Liverpool.

The new third kit is available to purchase now through Liverpool’s new online store, official LFC stores in the UK and internationally, and the LFC Store app. Season Ticket Holders, All Red Full, Light and Junior members are eligible for a 10 per cent discount.

Worldwide shipping is available through UPS, while customers in the UK and selected countries can receive free delivery when spending more than £85. Liverpool also lists PayPal as its preferred digital payment method, with eligible supporters able to use its buy-now-pay-later option.
