**Carabao Cup 2nd round, and a plum tie.**
When the draw for the 2nd round of the Carabao Cup was made, it is fair to say Luton Town got the plum tie when paired with the reigning World Club Champions, Chelsea.
The away end, at Stamford Bridge, will be packed with **4000** Luton supporters hoping to see their side pull off something of a cup shock.
But it could be a huge ask, or could it?
While Jack Wilshere will field a strong starting XI, possibly his strongest available, the new Chelsea manager, Xabi Alonso, may take the opportunity to utilise those in his squad who did not get a run-out, against Fulham, in their opening Premier League fixture, on Monday night, a game they won 3-2.
But there again, with no European football for Chelsea this season, Alonso may give the Carabao Cup more attention than the club normally would.
When it comes to the Luton Town starting XI, Jordan Clark will mot be available as the club follow concussion protocol, following the worrying incident against Notts County, on Saturday.

Can Luton Town pull off a cup shock and knock out Chelsea, or will it be a task too far?
My view is that it will be closer than many might be predicting but, on paper, Chelsea should make the 3rd round but you just never know in cup football!
The winners of this hugely anticipated 2nd round tie will host Leeds United in the 3rd round.
