Xabi Alonso has named his starting side for his first competitive game in charge at Stamford Bridge against Luton Town in the EFL Cup.
The Blues had less than three days to enjoy their Premier League opening-day victory against Fulham before they are back in action, after missing out on European football.
Alonso was always expected to make plenty of changes to his starting side, with the fixture against Brighton coming up on Sunday.

Confirmed Chelsea XI vs Luton Town
The winner of this tie will set up a home clash in the EFL Cup third round against Leeds United, with the Blues looking to get a couple of steps further than their semi-final exit last season.
Let’s take a look at the Chelsea side who have been tasked with getting the job done tonight…
The devastating front three of Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers all found the net against Fulham, but the Brazilian is rested tonight.
There is also a change in goal, with Mike Penders coming into the starting side in place of Robert Sanchez following his poor performance.
Pressure is on the duo in the immediate future following Chelsea being linked with signing Emi Martinez from Aston Villa this summer.
The Blues will have to act quickly if they want to bring him in before next week’s deadline.
There is also a start for Estevao Willian, who will need to work hard despite his immense talent to force himself into the starting attack more often.
