Liverpool has learned the teams it will face off against in the Champions League league phase this season, with some huge games coming up for Andoni Iraola.

Liverpool fans have given their view on the Champions League campaign ahead, with the league stage draw now completed and the Reds know which sides they will face.
The past two seasons of the format have seen the Merseyside club finish first and third in the table, guaranteeing passage to the round of 16 and avoiding an extra two games through the playoffs in the process.
Andoni Iraola will be hoping for much of the same, though the head coach will want to avoid the fate of Arne Slot, who was knocked out by PSG in the following rounds on both occasions.
As the Spaniard prepares for his first step into the Champions League with Liverpool, the draw has been conducted, and he now knows the path he will have to take towards reaching the latter stages.

Atletico Madrid were drawn at Anfield for the second consecutive season, with the Spanish side from pot one offering plenty of potential challenges for the home side.
Inter Milan was the second team from the top group, with a trip to the San Siro for the second year in a row on the cards, alongside a reunion with the recently departed Curtis Jones.
Porto and Club Brugge await from pot two, while Villarreal and Fenerbahce have been drawn from pot three. The final group of teams will see Liverpool face off with RC Lens and LASK.

It sets up some potentially favorable matchups for Liverpool, considering some of the teams that could've been drawn against the side this season.
For many fans, it's the ideal setup for the campaign ahead, as one supporter said on social media: "Looks easy on paper, I know it's gonna be tough, but let's go."
"That’s a fantastic draw for us I can’t lie," another fan said, while one claimed: "Brilliant draw. We have to finish 1st."
As the Champions League often shows, however, there aren't always easy games on display. Liverpool struggled against Galatasaray last year on two occasions, while there were other surprises, such as Manchester City's defeat to Bodo/Glimt.

"I can see you all saying it's easy games? This teams are stubborn teams and can cause lots of upset... no easy games," another fan said in contrast.
Other supporters immediately took notice of the reunion with Curtis Jones, so soon after his exit from Liverpool, as an exciting night at the San Siro awaits.
It remains to be seen whether those games will be as easy as many fans assume them to be, with the Reds ready for another interesting campaign ahead.
