**Liverpool are preparing for an eventful end to the summer transfer window.**
A deal has been agreed to bring Bradley Barcola to Anfield, with the player expected to do his medical and sign his contract before the deadline.
Andoni Iraola’s side remain on the lookout for further attacking reinforcements as they might need to draft in a replacement for Cody Gakpo if he moves to one of Manchester City or Tottenham.
And now, ahead of the game against Nottingham Forest, the Liverpool manager has confirmed that the Reds will reinforce other areas of the pitch if market opportunities arise.
While the Reds are well covered at centre-back after Ronald Araujo’s arrival, the right-back spot remains a bit of a problem due to Conor Bradley’s injury.
In midfield, they are a bit short after Curtis Jones’ departure, so that is another area of the pitch that could be reinforced.
And Iraola feels Liverpool will sign players across the pitch based on what players become available.

“There are certain things we can but it’s true we need players in the wide areas,” said the Spaniard in his pre-match press conference.
“I’m sure if we can improve other areas we will but I don’t know how the market is going to finish. I have to be patient as well as you.
“It’s very uncomfortable for me as you are dealing with uncertainties all the time. In four or five days we will know what we have and then we can make proper plans.”
