Three Liverpool players made their competitive debuts for the club in the 2-2 Premier League draw against Newcastle United.
Jeremy Jacquet started alongside Virgil van Dijk and led the backline with aplomb, while Ronald Araujo came to see off the game.
Victor Munoz was also introduced as a second-half substitute and the Spanish international showed his class and won a penalty which Dom Szoboszlai converted.
However, it was Jacquet who received special praise from the Spaniard ahead of the game against Nottingham Forest.

And Iraola feels the defender has already proved his class, although he urged the fans to stay patient through the mistakes he could potentially make in the coming weeks as he continues to get to grips with English football.
“He played very well considering it was his first game,” said the Spaniard in his pre-match press conference.
“It’s true he was tired, we had to sub him as you could feel he was tired in the last five minutes.
“He is very confident on the ball and good without the ball. Very young, we have to accept he will make mistakes.”
