Gabriel Martinelli is set to undergo an Al Hilal medical this weekend as his proposed Arsenal departure moves closer to completion.
Arsenal and the Saudi Pro League side have already agreed terms over a deal that could become the biggest sale in the Gunners’ history.
The remaining steps are now progressing quickly, with Martinelli expected to complete medical checks before Al Hilal attempt to finalise the transfer.

Gabriel Martinelli medical booked by Al Hilal
CBS Sports reports that Al Hilal have booked Martinelli’s medical for this weekend and hope to announce the signing shortly afterwards.
The report says Arsenal are set to receive a guaranteed $67.5million, with a further $9.3million available in add-ons.
That represents another significant progression from Wednesday, when ReadArsenal reported that Arsenal were ready to approve Martinelli’s medical once the player-side agreement was completed.
Mikel Arteta also addressed Martinelli’s situation on Thursday.
“Everybody knows and recognises how much we love Gabi.”
Arteta added that whatever happens next will be because “everyone agrees to that”, with his comments reported by CBS Sports.
Martinelli has been moving steadily towards an Arsenal exit throughout the final week of the window.
ReadArsenal previously reported that Arsenal and Al Hilal had reached an agreement in principle after negotiations accelerated over the Brazilian.
The medical booking now leaves the deal increasingly close to completion.
Martinelli joined Arsenal from Ituano in 2019 and has developed into one of the club’s most recognisable attackers under Arteta.
His departure would also represent a significant moment in Arsenal’s summer rebuild, with the club potentially banking a record outgoing fee while continuing to assess their options in attack.
