An ESPN analyst was caught off guard when news broke that San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York's prostitution arrested on Sunday, Aug. 23.
While Mina Kimes was on “NFL Live,” Adam Schefter read out the details surrounding the 49ers owner's alleged connection to meeting up with a sex worker for $140. Kimes, who appeared on the show virtually, cringed after Schefter read the details, and her response has since gone viral.
Kimes responded to the viral moment on X, writing, “Didn't know I was on camera for that $140 reveal.”

According to court records, York responded to an advertisement on Sunday from a known prostitution website in Columbiana County, Ohio. The ad that York responded to offered an “arranged to have sexual activity with the female in exchange for $140.”
While York went to the trailer park thinking he was meeting with a sex worker in East Palestine, Ohio, he was taken into custody by an agent from the Mahoning Valley Human trafficking Task Force instead. He was arrested there because it's where he was pulled over by law enforcement and were the homes were not used as part of the operation by officials according to a Facebook post by the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Park.
York “in his possession his cellular device which was used to arrange the criminal act,” according to the court documents per the New York Post.
He was initially charged with prostitution, but the charge was amended down to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. York was also charged with possessing criminal tools after using his personal cell phone to contact an undercover officer to arrange the meetup with the sex worker. He has pleaded no contest to both charges and was sentenced to one day in jail. York was then ordered to pay $1,150 in court fines and forfeit the $160 in cash he carried at the time of his arrest.
York has served as CEO of the 49ers since 2008. He is married to Danielle Belluomini, and the couple shares two sons, Jaxon and Brixton. He filed for divorce from Belluomini back in May after 15 years of marriage.
The NFL is currently reviewing on if York will be punished following the arrest.
