Bournemouth boss Marco Rose is adamant Alex Scott will remain at the club despite interest from Chelsea. Arsenal and Manchester United have both expressed an interest in the £80m-rated midfielder, while Chelsea had an offer rejected by Bournemouth last month. Scott featured in all but one of his side’s 38 Premier League games last season, scoring three goals and providing one assist as the Cherries finished sixth in the table. And it was claimed earlier this week that Chelsea were ready to make a last-ditch mega offer to sign Scott as a replacement for Enzo Fernandez. But Rose insists he is '120%' sure England international Scott will still be a Bournemouth player when the Premier League transfer window shuts on Tuesday night.

"I'm not just confident, I'm sure [Scott will stay]," he said. "Not just quite sure, I am sure."
Asked if he was "100% sure," Rose retorted: "I mean, is there 120%?
"You know, it is what it is. We know this business. He played a top season, but I think even Alex knows what he learned from this club, what he got from this club.
"We show we know what we get from him, so we support him to play another brilliant season. He’s keen to play another brilliant season.
"He's still young enough to [take] big steps because, to be honest, I see no ceiling in his capabilities."

Fernandez is being linked with a move to Manchester City, and was left out of the squad to face Luton Town. Former Chelsea midfielder Jody Morris believes Scott or Adam Wharton could be the perfect replacements for him.
Speaking via Genting Casino, he said: "Who could replace Enzo Fernandez? It's a difficult choice. Romeo Lavia has just completed his first 90 minutes in pre-season, and they clearly like his ability on the ball.
"It wouldn't surprise me if they targeted someone like Alex Scott or Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace. If Enzo leaves, I don't think we would be left short.
"It isn't an absolute necessity to spend another £80m-£100m on a midfielder. We have enough depth, Reece James can play in there, and Lavia will feature heavily if he stays fit. Still, the recruitment team might look at Wharton or Scott, it wouldn’t surprise me."
