Chelsea face backlash after Luton fan goes viral for showing awful obstructed seats at Stamford Bridge

**A Luton Town fan has taken to social media to call out Chelsea after attending the Carabao Cup clash.**

[Chelsea](https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/club/) booked their spot in the next round of the Carabao Cup to set up a clash with Leeds United, grinding out a 2–0 win over Luton Town at Stamford Bridge.

After a frustrating, goalless first half, Danny Welbeck finally broke the deadlock right after the break, before a late own goal put the match completely out of reach.

Despite the result, the travelling Luton fans showed up in full force, filling their entire 4,000-seat allocation in the Shed End and making plenty of noise from start to finish.

However, it was a bit of a disaster for one Luton fan in particular.

Enzo Fernandez reportedly asked to be left out tonight…

A travelling Luton Town fan took to social media to vent his frustration after arriving at Stamford Bridge to find his seat had a completely obstructed view.

The supporter posted a short video showing plastic roofing blocking almost the entire pitch, claiming it was the worst away seat he had ever seen.

What made matters worse was that the ticket reportedly came with no prior warning or restricted-view discount.

He said: “So we’re at our seats, 97 and 98, right at the back row, so I thought brilliant, we can stand up, see everything and we won’t annoy anyone. What is that? No one told us it is restricted. This is worse than anything I’ve ever seen, you almost have to sit down. It’s safe standing in front, so you have to stand up but you cannot see.”

If the club truly haven’t notified the fan that his seats were restricted when purchasing them then that is completely wrong, especially as he has to stand with safe standing in front of him.

But we await a potential response from Chelsea.
