Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli has given his green light to a move to Al Hilal, and a deal is now at the final stages, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners have had a strong summer transfer window with the arrivals of Illan Meslier, Christos Tzolis, Bruno Guimaraes, and Ezri Konsa, while Mikel Arteta has allowed Leandro Trossard, Christian Norgaard, and Reiss Nelson to depart.
But the club are still expecting more deals to happen in the final days of the window, with both exits and incomings hoped for, and Brazil international Martinelli is now expected to be the first of those to be on the move.
Martinelli has been heavily linked with a move away this summer, with Arsenal looking to strengthen at the left-wing position in particular.
Talks have been ongoing with Saudi giants Al Hilal over a €65m (£55.7m) deal to take him to the Middle East, but the SPL side have been looking to secure the player's approval before securing the transfer.
Now, writing on his X account, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Martinelli has finally given his approval to a move, and talks are now progressing to the final stages to finalise a package for the transfer.
It's understood that Martinelli's medical is expected to be booked very soon, and Martinelli should put pen-to-paper on a long-term contract, bringing an end to seven years at the Emirates Stadium.
Martinelli has made 278 appearances for the north London club since joining from Brazilian side Ituano, scoring 62 goals. He has won the Premier League and Community Shield during his time with the side.

Arteta Hints at Martinelli Exit

Martinelli was left out of the matchday squad for Arsenal's opening Premier League game of the season against Coventry, which they won 3-0 last Friday.
Speaking this week, manager Mikel Arteta was asked about his future and admitted that an exit did look likely.
"It's inevitable, at some point you need to have certain discussions and say certain things that sometimes are tough," said Arteta.
