Chelsea are interested in signing AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara in the final days of the summer transfer window, football.london understands.
The 22-year-old has been offered to both the Blues and Premier League rivals Liverpool as a late opportunity, with the transfer window closing on Tuesday of next week. Camara is highly thought of in France after a superb 2025/26 season for Monaco and is attracting interest from overseas this summer.
Chelsea are indeed keen on Camara and could make a move for him if Enzo Fernandez departs to Manchester City before next week's deadline. It is unclear at the time of writing whether a move for Camara solely relies on Fernandez being sold, with the Blues looking to loan out midfielder Dario Essugo in the coming days as well.

Liverpool are also said to be keen on the Senegal international following the departure of Curtis Jones to Inter Milan this month. Andoni Iraola is light on midfield options and the Reds only have a few more days to bring in reinforcements for their newly-appointed head coach.
As for Fernandez, Stamford Bridge sources insist there has been no direct club-to-club contact from Manchester City - at the time of writing - despite reports in Argentina claiming a deal for the midfielder to move to the Etihad Stadium is close. Chelsea set Man City, and other potential suitors, a £120million price tag for Fernandez but took those terms off the table earlier this month.
Any offer from City would be considered in the context of adding to Xabi Alonso's squad. Alonso left Fernandez out of his squad for Chelsea's win over Luton Town on Thursday night.
