Chelsea have finally confirmed a new front-of-shirt sponsor for the new season. The Blues went without for matches against Fulham and Luton Town, but have revealed that US-based Circle Internet Group have struck an agreement.
Last season, the club was unable to agree a sponsorship deal until February, when the industrial artificial intelligence company IFS claimed the spot. The west London side once again could not reach an agreement in time for the opening whistle of the 2026/27 season, but they have now confirmed a deal.
The agreement is reported to be for an initial year, with the option to extend, provided both parties are happy to continue with the arrangement. Ciricle Internet Group's USDC (US Dollar Coin) is set to be the logo on the front of the club’s shirt in a yellow font.
Chelsea are said to have been aiming for a deal worth £50million a season, though the terms have remained private. Circle are described as a 'pioneer in digital assets... helping build the financial system for the internet' and was founded in 2013.
Circle and USDC brands will appear on the front of Chelsea's Men's, Women's and Academy shirts. The sponsor will be on display for the first time during the Premier League match against Brighton.
Todd Kline, Chelsea's President of Commercial, said: ‘Circle is changing how money moves around the world, and we’re changing what it means to be a global football club. That’s real alignment, not just in values but in our shared ambition to lead on a global stage.
"This is more than a logo on a shirt, it represents a partner who’s building something. We’re excited to see what we can build together."

Speaking in 2022, Behdad Eghbali revealed that Clearlake Capital believed the Blues had not been commercially well-managed.
"We thought Chelsea [was] frankly an asset, a business that was not terribly well managed on the football side, sporting side or promotional side," he said. "So a meaningful opportunity at the club, and we’ll get to it for us, who needed the beachhead to then look at multi clubs.
"[We] looked at it and we think European sports is probably 20 years behind US sports in terms of sophistication on the commercial side, and sophistication on the data side."
Chelsea have started the last four seasons without a front-of-shirt sponsor. The Blues came to terms with Infinite Athlete in 2023/24, DAMAC Properties for the end of 2024/25 and IFS last term before this season's agreement.
