Signings between now and the end of the window is probably the main thing that is on everyone’s mind right now. The Champions’ League draw is now done and what ever we think of it – personally , I think it’s ok – it is what it is and there is no reason why we shouldn’t be in the top eight come the end of January. We have a nice relaxing weekend ahead, and by the time we visit Villa Park on Monday evening, I personally will be BBQ’d out and so full for beer and brandy that I may not even be awake at 8 pm for the kick off. But the transfer window will be on my mind all weekend.
What do we need and what will we get?

I made my feelings clear about Gabi yesterday, so I won’t linger on my pain any longer, so let’s focus on the incomings. We have possibly already made the signing of the window with Quantum – try telling me that is not going to become his nickname – and securing Piero was definitely good business, but surely there are two more big moves to add to Bruno G and Ezra. I’m not convinced about Alvarez, but wouldn’t object as long the deal doesn’t involve Viktor going the other way (personally I think that it will be Jesus) , but that leaves one other piece of the jigsaw to complete.
Who is the mystery unknown, unknown?

Without stating the obvious, I wouldn’t need the sub heading above if I had the slightest clue as to who might be signing on the dotted line come 11pm on Tuesday. But, just for the fun of it let’s throw in a few random names:
