Arsenal make enquiries about‘loads’ of players as transfer window enters final days

Arsenal have made enquiries about a number of players in recent weeks as Mikel Arteta and the club continue to assess their options before the summer transfer window closes.

According to Teamnewsandtix on X, the Gunners have made “loads of enquiries” about potential targets over the last week or so, with Real Madrid forward Endrick among the players they have looked into.

Arsenal have made loose enquiries about loads of players in the last week or so.

Endrick is one of them (we also tried for him 18 months ago)

No idea who if anyone we pull the trigger on because weve made so many enquiries. https://t.co/GZuih9YVhB

The teenager is no stranger to Arsenal’s recruitment team, with the club having also tried to sign him around 18 months ago.

Endrick eventually joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras and remains regarded as one of the most highly-rated young forwards in world football.

The 18-year-old has found opportunities in Spain difficult to come by, however, and his situation has led to considerable speculation over his future.

Arsenal’s interest does not necessarily mean a move is imminent.

Teamnewsandtix stressed that the club have made enquiries about a large number of players recently and admitted there is currently no indication of who Arsenal could ultimately decide to pursue.

“No idea who if anyone we pull the trigger on because we’ve made so many enquiries,” the account said.

That suggests Arsenal are continuing to keep several options open as they approach the final stages of the window rather than focusing solely on one potential signing.

Endrick is therefore one name on a much wider list of players Arsenal have explored.

The forward would also represent a very different type of signing to some of the more established names linked with the Gunners this summer, given his age and long-term potential.

Arsenal have already been extremely active during the window, strengthening several areas of Arteta’s squad, but their work may not be finished yet.

The club have been linked with further attacking additions, while the departures of players such as Gabriel Martinelli have also created potential space within the squad.

Whether Endrick becomes a serious target remains unclear at this stage.

For now, the information indicates that Arsenal have checked on his situation, just as they have with a number of other players in recent weeks.

With the transfer deadline approaching, the Gunners appear to be keeping their options open before deciding whether to make another move.

Endrick could therefore be one to watch in the final days of the window, particularly given Arsenal’s previous attempt to sign him.
