Gabriel Jesus has been offered to Atletico Madrid in the last few hours, according to Matteo Moretto. The Brazil international could leave Arsenal for between €18million and €20million.
There have already been contacts with the player. Moretto stressed the approach is unrelated to the Julian Alvarez situation.

Arsenal have been open to selling Jesus this summer and previously attracted interest from Napoli. The 29-year-old is in the final year of his contract and has found minutes harder to come by.
Atletico are in the middle of a tense stand-off over Alvarez, who wants to leave but will not be sold to Barcelona. A cut-price addition of Jesus would be a separate piece of business if the Spanish club decide they need another attacking option.
A fee in that range would also take Jesus’s wages off Arsenal’s books. Supporters have long expected the striker to move on before the deadline.
Whether Atletico pursue the offer will depend on their own attacking plans and how the Alvarez saga develops. Jesus would need to agree personal terms and a move to La Liga.
Further updates are expected if talks progress before Tuesday’s deadline. Arsenal continue to manage several outgoing situations while remaining in the picture for Alvarez if the player gives sufficient encouragement. A Jesus departure would free space and funds in the final days of the window.
