Tottenham are now said to be interested in Everton star Iliman Ndiaye, who has been heavily linked with a move away this summer. Spurs are in the midst of a club-record transfer window, and they have stepped things up again over the last week, bringing in Omar Marmoush on loan and Savinho on a £75million deal, both from Manchester City.
Roberto De Zerbi has already been given well over £200million before those players arrived, and there could yet be more if there is a significant departure at the top end of the field. Richarlison could depart, and according to one journalist, there could be a move in the offing that sends a player to Spurs and Richarlison the other way.
Ndiaye is that player, with the right-winger being linked by journalist Santi Aouna. He posted on X:
Richarlison, of course, is a former Everton player, and he was loved by the fans in the blue half of Merseyside. The arrival of Marmoush could lead to reduced playing time for the Brazilian, potentially leading him towards an exit, with Dominic Solanke also an option up top.
As for Ndiaye, City look to be in the driving seat as things stand, but Spurs could do with another option on the right, with youngster Mikey Moore having had to start there last week, with Mohammed Kudus yet to return from his long-term layoff.
Ndiaye was a productive player for Everton last season, scoring six times and providing three assists.

Moyes reluctant to lose Ndiaye

Speaking on Friday, Everton boss David Moyes said: “We’re certainly not in a hurry to sell our best players, that’s for sure. I don’t think we need to do anything. It’s nothing I’m concerned about because there’s been no contact as far as I’m aware of.”
He had already said at the back end of last season: "He is the last person I would consider selling. There are others as well [that I wouldn’t want to sell], but my point is I have no interest in hearing the talk if there is talk out there.
“I don’t think there is any club that is not a selling club at the right value for their player. I am not saying that means he is for sale, I am not, I just think it is a genuine thing where there is a price where people would say: ‘well, we have to do something.’"
