Aston Villa have reached a verbal agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign winger Ibrahim Mbaye for around £47m.
Villa moved for Mbaye after missing out on AC Milan forward Rafael Leao to Galatasaray. It was reported in March that Villa were among the Premier League clubs considering a move for Mbaye.

Liverpool also explored a potential deal for Ibrahim Mbaye this summer but have since pursued his PSG teammate, Bradley Barcola.
The Senegal international primarily plays on the right wing and made 24 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
Mbaye had yet to approve the move to Aston Villa, however, according to RMC Sport, Ibrahim Mbaye is now set to join Aston Villa on a five-year contract, with an option for a further year.
The 18-year-old is expected in England on Saturday to undergo his medical, with a deal agreed at €55million including add-ons.
It has been a summer of upheaval for Aston Villa, with Youri Tielemans, Morgan Rogers, Ezri Konsa and Lucas Digne leaving the club. Ollie Watkins and Emiliano Martinez also appear set to depart.
Alejandro Garnacho, Johan Manzambi, Leon Goretzka, Joao Gomes, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Matteo Ruggeri have all arrived, while Villa have also agreed a deal to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea.
Speaking ahead of Villa’s clash with Arsenal, Unai Emery was asked about the club’s transfer plans before Deadline Day on September 1.
“We took some decisions because it’s good for the club. We tried to compete as good as possible, but some situations are clear,” Emery said.
“It’s the right way and decision. We don’t want to be a club to sell players, but our responsibility is there. For the club it’s a good deal.
“It’s not changing our priorities to be competitive. We must be the same. Strong development with the players. I am confident and positive.
“The players we are signing are good players. We need to get balance with experience and players with huge potential.
“Of course, I want to keep some players, the ones who help us to be successful. But I accept it because I have experience before in the same situation.
“I expect to continue to do special and different ways. The objective is to get progressively in the same way. We will need time.”
