Micah Parsons is considered my many to be one of the best defensive players in the NFL. Currently playing for the Green Bay Packers, he made a surprising move from the Dallas Cowboys back in 2025.
He has been involved in some controversies off the field, due to his comments on his podcast. Furthermore, his brother Terrence Parsons Jr. also often causes problems with his own statements, with a recent incident proof of that.

Terrence is the older brother of Micah, and is known to make statements online about the NFL. He was previously criticized for revealing his brother’s injury timeline ahead of his franchise. Recently, he caused outrage on social media when he publicly defended Micah’s teammate Josh Jacobs. The running back faced misdemeanor charges stemming from an alleged domestic incident.

Jacobs was charged by the Brown County District Attorney’s Office with misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property involving his ex-girlfriend. According to the complaint detailed in reports, the incident occurred on May 23, 2026 at a residence near Green Bay. Prosecutors stated that surveillance video from a garage camera captured a portion of the physical altercation. Jacobs allegedly grabbed the woman and threw her to the ground, causing her to strike her head and sustain an injury and was also accused of damaging her phone.
With much pressure on the Packers to sever ties with Jacobs, Terrence posted on X, “A shove.? Yall gotta relax anger gets the best out of anyone everyone deserves a second chance misdemeanors at that.”
He later posted again to defend his stance, “I’ll never be afraid to stand on what I believe in… yall act like he sucker punched that girl this ain’t a ray rice situation never said he was right but it ain’t right calling for that man’s career.”
Micah has not commented on his brother’s opinion, and the case for Jacobs remains pending with the NFL conducting its own investigation. Micah recently praised one of his rivals in the league.
Micah Parsons praises Jahmyr Gibbs
Parsons recently showed his admiration for Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs. In the 2026 NFL Top 100 rankings, Gibbs was voted No. 9 overall, while Parsons came in at No. 8 on the list. He praised Gibbs’ speed, having faced him multiple times with the Lions and Packers being fierce NFC North divisional rivals. He said, “He’s the fastest person I’ve ever seen on the field.”
He added, “You need 11 people running to the ball every play. If you don’t rally tackle, there’s no way you’re beating the Lions with him at running back. You’re watching the tape like, ‘We’ve got this dude again this week?’ He’s for real.” Parsons and the Packers faced the Lions and Gibbs twice last year, and he earlier faced him in 2023 with the Cowboys. In those matchups, Parsons managed to keep Gibbs quiet.
Micah Parsons will now focus on getting ready for the next season, with high expectations on him.
