KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WIBW) - The Kansas City Chiefs turn their attention to the regular season, following Friday night’s preseason tie to Seattle, 9-9.
Seahawks kicker Jason Myers missed a 52-yard field goal as time expired. Myers missed an extra point in the earlier game as well.
Chiefs 7th-round draft pick Garrett Nussmeier got the start on Friday and played the entire game. The LSU product threw for 198 and one interception on 22-of-34 passing.
Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker was 3-of-4 on field goals.
Kansas City hosts the Denver Broncos in primetime on Monday, September 14 at 7:15 p.m. to open the 2026 regular season.
