NY Giants roster tracker: Cuts, trades, rumors, news, injuries, analysis

The New York Giants preseason is officially in the rearview mirror. The next time we see the Giants on a football field it’ll be in Week 1, on Sunday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants are currently 2.5-point underdogs for Week 1, with their over/under for the season at 7.5 wins, per FanDuel.

But despite the Giants being expected to finish last in the division with a losing record, John Harbaugh is the favorite to win AP Coach of the Year.

Of course, we don’t know exactly who will make up the 2026 Giants’ 53-man roster, and the next order of business is to trim the roster down from 90 to 53 players by 6 p.m. ET on Sunday.

So far, the Giants have traded a pair of backup offensive linemen, Daniel Faalele (to the Jacksonville Jaguars) and Joshua Ezeudu (to the Kansas City Chiefs), and John Harbaugh has indicated that the team is willing to engage in more trade talks. Can the Giants get some kind of return for players they don’t have room for on their final roster? And, of course, there are always surprise cuts at the end of the preseason.

So follow along here as we track all of the moves as the Giants trim their offseason roster down to their initial 53-man roster.

The New York Giants finished their preseason on Friday with a 23-6 victory over the New York Jets. Odell Beckham Jr. had a big night. Dominic Zvada learned he had won the placekicking job. Let’s review the action in our unique ‘Kudos and Wet Willies’ style.

Odell Beckham Jr. — Is anyone still questioning whether or not Beckham is making the 53-man roster? Beckham nearly had a 73-yard touchdown reception, but Jameis Winston slightly overthrew him and the ball fell incomplete.
