Marcus Rashford reportedly plans to turn down any approach from Fenerbahce amid fresh claims he could join Arsenal. The Manchester United star continues to be linked with an Old Trafford exit despite being reintegrated into the squad by Michael Carrick.
Staying at his boyhood club is not a guarantee despite his return to competitive action last weekend with the Gunners suggested as a potential option. That is because the Premier League champions are poised to part with Gabriel Martinelli despite not securing a direct replacement.
A potential loan move would be the most likely outcome and Rashford could well be open to it. He is not, however, interested in signing for Fenerbahce, who have made him their priority target after qualifying for the Champions League, according to The Sun.

It has been claimed that Rashford is yet to have any interest in moving to Turkiye with that still the case. His dream was to sign for Barcelona permanently but they opted to bring in Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi instead.
Hansi Flick's side are actually still yet to replace Robert Lewandowski. Julian Alvarez is their preferred option but Atletico Madrid have regularly stated they have no plans to even enter negotiations with their La Liga rivals.

Selling to Arsenal is certainly an option, though, with that appearing as the focus for Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta over the next few days as opposed to signing a replacement for Martinelli.
However, they could now shockingly face competition from his former club Manchester City with Spanish outlet Marca claiming they have entered the race for his signature.
Enzo Maresca's side could be looking at attacking additions in the final days of the window having let Omar Marmoush and Savinho join Tottenham. They have also been linked with Liverpool's Cody Gakpo and Everton star Iliman Ndiaye.
A return to Etihad Stadium would be quite the surprise but one thing does appear certain and that is he will not joining Barca. The player is said to now understand that after missing the last three days of Atleti training.

Just in case there was any remaining doubt, a club statement from earlier this week read: "The members of Atletico Madrid’s Board of Directors have unanimously expressed their full support for the club’s decision not to negotiate the transfer of Julian Alvarez to FC Barcelona.
"The members of the Board of Directors are aware that: Atletico Madrid is open to negotiations that are part of the transfer market, but always in an ethical and professional manner and with respect between clubs.
"We fully support the position previously communicated by the club that FC Barcelona have not met these requirements and, as a result, there have been no negotiations, nor will there be any negotiations with them regarding the transfer of Julian Alvarez.”
