Enzo Maresca is off to the perfect start in the Premier League after his first two games in charge since leaving Chelsea, and Erling Haaland has said the Man City players are willing to trust their new boss.
Maresca took arguably the hardest job in football when he took over from Pep Guardiola at the Etihad, and there were some concerns amongst City fans after pre-season and the Community Shield.
However, consecutive victories over Bournemouth and Crystal Palace to start the season have put any worries to one side for now, with the Italian starting to have his own stamp on the side.

Erling Haaland gives early Enzo Maresca verdict at Man City
Haaland was asked after his two-goal performance what it was like working under the former Chelsea man, after spending his entire career up to this season with Guardiola.
The striker told Sky Sports that the players have faith in their new manager and the ideas he has already brought to the Etihad.

He said: “I think we played well. New manager and all of that but we know what to do. We have to trust the system, and trust Enzo and what he wants us to do.”
Maresca made headlines last week when he decided to start Marc Guehi in central midfield for their opening game of the season, a role he has never really played in his career.
The England international went on to score in that game, providing vindication for Maresca after the risky call he made.
It remains to be seen if he will crop up in that role again, with the manager desperate to bring in Enzo Fernandez before Tuesday night’s deadline.
The Argentine asked to be left out of Chelsea’s squad for their EFL Cup tie against Luton Town, clearly pushing to secure a move away this summer.
A move would leave Chelsea very little time to find a suitable replacement, although this would be of no concern to Maresca, who has stopped even saying the name of his former football club in interviews.
