Amit Bhatia joined John W. Henry at Anfield during Liverpool's Anfield opener against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, after his investment into the club alongside Jeff Bezos.
Bhatia is heading the consortium, alongside Bezos and Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin that has invested in the club. Bhatia has been named Liverpool's new vice-chairman, and spoke for the first time this week.
The former Queens Park Rangers owner sat with Henry, ahead of an important few days for the club as they hope to bring in more signings - as well as Bradley Barcola from PSG. It is unclear how much Bhatia will be involved in the transfer over the next few days, after explaining his role long-term.
On confirming the deal with 1892 Holdings, Bhatia said: "We are incredibly proud to be investing in Liverpool Football Club and to be doing so alongside FSG.
"We have the utmost respect and admiration for FSG as owners and for everything they have achieved at Anfield.
"To be welcomed as a partner in a club of this stature is a huge privilege.

"We are making this investment because we believe deeply in Liverpool and its leadership, and we look forward to supporting the club's continued success for years to come."
Meanwhile, FSG president Mike Gordon said: "Liverpool has always been built by thinking beyond one season and making decisions with the club’s long-term interests in mind.
"That approach continues to attract interest from respected investors and business leaders around the world. As we considered this opportunity, it became clear that Amit and the consortium shared our long-term philosophy and appreciation for what makes Liverpool special.
"Their experience and perspective will complement the strong foundation already in place, and we look forward to working together."

Liverpool should have no issue with transfer funds moving forward should Bezos be involved, being the third-richest men on the planet with a new worth of $297 billion.
Multiple rumors have suggested that the consortium could complete a takeover from FSG over the coming years. However, Henry does not appear interested in selling just yet and has spent big during the transfer window once again.
They will spend $162 million on Bradley Barcola, as well as potential further funds on Yankuba Minteh or Ismaila Sarr in the final few days of the window.
