Arsenal’s full 2026/27 Champions League league-phase schedule has been confirmed, with Mikel Arteta’s side beginning away at Napoli before welcoming Real Madrid to the Emirates in December.
The defending Premier League champions will play eight matches between September and January as they attempt to secure another place in the knockout stages.
Arsenal’s schedule includes heavyweight trips to Napoli and Bayern Munich, while Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid will both travel to north London.

Bayern Munich trip gives Arsenal early European test
Arsenal begin their European campaign with a demanding trip to Napoli on 9 September.
Their first Champions League match at the Emirates comes against Lille on 13 October before one of the standout fixtures of the entire league phase arrives eight days later.
Arsenal travel to Bayern Munich on Wednesday 21 October.
The meeting adds another chapter to a familiar European rivalry and represents one of Arteta’s toughest away assignments of the league phase.

Real Madrid head to Emirates in December
The biggest home fixture arrives shortly before Christmas.
Real Madrid visit the Emirates on Wednesday 9 December, with the match kicking off at 8pm.
Arsenal will also host Borussia Dortmund on 24 November, meaning two European heavyweights arrive in north London in consecutive Champions League home games.
Those fixtures follow a trip to Slavia Prague on 4 November.

Under the Champions League format, the top eight clubs progress automatically to the last 16.
Teams finishing ninth to 24th must instead enter a two-legged knockout play-off.
