Ornstein writes: _“Liverpool have finalised an agreement to sign Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain._
_“The Merseyside club will pay a package worth £106million (€125m) plus add-ons potentially rising to £17m (€20m) for the 23-year-old forward._
_“The France international is set to sign a five-year contract with Andoni Iraola’s side with a medical expected to take place in the next 24 hours._
_“As part of the agreement, Liverpool will make an additional £4.3m (€5m) solidarity payment for Barcola, covering the costs of the sell-on fee which Lyon negotiated with PSG upon his move in 2023._
_“A breakthrough in negotiations — helmed by sporting director Richard Hughes, Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon for Liverpool and Nasser Al-Khelaifi for PSG — came after the Merseyside club held key talks on Tuesday to bring clarity over the proposed transfer.”_
Isak will be the biggest beneficiary of Barcola’s move to Liverpool

Barcola will score a lot of goals on his own, but Isak will be the player most likely to improve with the Frenchman’s arrival. Florian Wirtz is a close second, with the German finally set to play with a forward most suited to his strengths.
Many expected Isak to magically return to the player he was at Newcastle, but until now, he hasn’t played with a player who will look to serve him above all else.
Mohamed Salah’s vision and creativity is not to be downplayed here, but the Egyptian always thought of scoring himself before looking for Isak, while Barcola is a No.9’s dream.
