Man City Women beat Manchester United and OL Lyonnes defeated London City Lionesses in final pre-season games.
Manchester City defeated Manchester United 2-0 in a behind-closed-doors match at the Joie Stadium.
Khadija Shaw scored the first goal after putting pressure on United goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce.
United’s Elisabeth Terland had a shot tipped wide by Ayaka Yamashita, before Lauren Hemp saw her effort pushed onto the post by Tullis-Joyce.
Substitute Iman Beney doubled the lead after a set-up by Beth Mead.
OL Lyonnes secured a 4-0 win in the Mastercard Cup over the London City Lionesses at the OL Groupama Training Centre.
Caroline Weir struck twice late in the first half to give Lyonnes a two-goal advantage over London City at the break.
Weir fired home from just inside the box, and minutes later Salma Paralluelo saw her effort tipped over the crossbar by Mary Earps, only for the resulting corner from Weir to fly straight in.
It was 3-0 soon after the restart as Melchie Dumornay got in behind to round the goalkeeper and score.
Although Weir was denied her hat-trick by Earps, she did cross from Dumornay to double her tally.
