Arsenal have made a fresh transfer move for Endrick as per the latest transfer news. This brings a fresh twist to the Real Madrid youngster’s future. The Gunners need more options in attack after Gabriel Martinelli’s exit, but Madrid still appear keen to keep their young star.
Arsenal renew Endrick transfer interest
As reported by TEAMtalk, Arsenal have made fresh enquiries about Endrick as they look for a new left-sided attacker. The 20-year-old has returned to Madrid after a strong loan spell with Lyon, but his role under Jose Mourinho is still a talking point. The Gunners had already asked about Endrick earlier this summer. That happened during talks over Vinicius Junior. Arsenal also checked on Arda Guler.
With Vinicius now tied to a new deal, and Guler starting Real Madrid’s first two games, Endrick has again become a serious name for north London. Fresh contact was made with Madrid this week over the Brazilian. Arsenal are looking for attack help before Martinelli leaves. It also notes that Mourinho has said Endrick will stay, even as fresh interest keeps growing.
Endrick’s stats for Real Madrid during the first- half of the 2025/26 season, as per FOTMOB:
Competitions Matches Goals Assists
La Liga 1 0 0
Copa Del Rey 1 0 0
Champions League 1 0 0
Endrick’s stats for Lyon(on loan) during the second-half of the 2025/26 season, as per FOTMOB:
Competitions Matches Goals Assists
Ligue 1 16 5 7
Coupe De France 3 2 1
Europa League 2 1 0
Lyon spell adds to the interest
The Brazilian’s last season gave him a reason to hope for more minutes. He joined Lyon on loan in January after struggling for regular game time in Spain. Endrick then found his touch and confidence in France. He had a good spell in Lyon and that form helped remind clubs why Real Madrid paid an initial €60 million for him in 2022.
Now back in Spain, the Brazil forward is facing a fresh test. He has been dealing with a tendon issue and has not played in Madrid’s opening games. People close to Endrick are not yet sure he will have a big role under Mourinho, despite the manager’s public support. The young forward is aware of the Gunners’ interest. A move could offer him a clearer path to regular football.
Madrid hold the key for the Endrick move
Arsenal have started talks with Madrid about a possible deal for Endrick. Yet Mourinho has already made his view clear. He does not want the forward sold or loaned out. That makes any deal difficult. Madrid signed Endrick as one of Brazil’s biggest young talents, and the club still sees value in his future. Mourinho has also spoken highly of him, which suggests the coach wants time to work with the player.
Still, the late timing could matter. The Premier League side have now sold Martinelli to Al-Hilal and need another option on the left. They are also watching Igor Paixao, while Malick Fofana and Marcus Rashford remain possible routes. Julian Alvarez is another target, but the plan for him is as a central forward. Arsenal have not given up on Endrick. The fresh contact shows that the interest is now more than a simple check.
Author’s Opinion
Endrick’s talent is not in doubt, but playing time may matter most at this stage. Arsenal could offer a fresh chance, yet the La Liga side may be right to stay patient. The key question is simple, where can Endrick grow best right now?
